Bake Up Some Christmas Memories

Hello my lovelies! I hope you are well and keeping safe. This year, more than ever, I think we all need some twinkly lights, the smell of cinnamon, cloves and mulled wine as well as a whole lot of hope! That’s the plan here at Love Art and Beyond where things are beginning to look rather festive! 

Ina Cuisson is excited to say hello! She loves to bake for her loved ones; gingerbread cookies are her favourite! Not just for their taste and how fun it is to decorate them, especially with her little ones, but also for their unique sweet and spicy smell!

I’m sure you’ll agree that the sense of smell is really powerful and sometimes underestimated! It can sweep us up like a time portal and transport us from where we are now to another space and time! Scent particles can in fact revive memories that have been long forgotten!

So, Ina wants to encourage and inspire us to bake up some Christmas memories this year! Let’s fill our homes with sweet and comforting smells that will last forever! I am looking forward to making my Christmas cake, melomakarona and sticky toffee pudding! What are your favourite things to bake? All I can say is that a home baked cookie, a mug of hot chocolate, a cosy blanket and some Michael Bublé playing in the background is all I need to feel Christmassy!
