Καλή Χρονιά Happy New Year
Irinoula and Rodoula are both wearing their traditional Cypriot costumes with pride and are ready for the festivities of the New Year. The water they carry in their clay water pitchers symbolise their pure, innocent souls. The olive branch on Irinoula symbolises peace, ειρήνη in Greek (irini), and the name of our little Cypriot girl. Rodoula’s name is derived from the decorative pomegranates or ρόδια (rodhia) in Greek and symbolise good luck and abundance.
I promise to tell you more about these cuties which I am particularly proud of and which I lovingly made and donated especially for charity events during the Christmas holidays, but for now, Irinoula and Rodoula want to wish you a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019, one with abundance, the kind that comes from Eckhart Toll’s advice,
“Acknowledging the good that you already have in your life is the foundation for all abundance.”
and peace; world peace, peace in our minds and peace in our hearts!
Thank you so much for a wonderful SO SOPHIE year and your support and appreciation!
Filakia, Sophie
