Aquarius

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well! Well today, on this very, very cold and windy day here in Cyprus, I thought it would be perfect to introduce Sassy Savvilia, swimsuit and all! Oh yes, she loves to swim, adores the colour purple and is an Aquarius (January 20 – February 18). So I’m not crazy after all, LOL! Sassy Savvilia is adventurous, quirky and a little star! The seas and oceans are her second home and where she truly feels free! Did I mention that flippers are her favourite accessory?!

I don’t know about you but I always get confused with Aquarius. Because ‘aqua’ is in the name I always think it’s a summer zodiac sign and a water sign, but actually it’s the last air sign and a winter one too! Aquarius is often represented by the water bearer so I chose to make her holding an amphora with water. The combination of purple and turquoise is bold and happy. I especially loved making her flippers!

Sassy Savvilia is strong and confident. She has no problem wearing her swimsuit in the middle of winter because she believes in herself and celebrates her uniqueness! Whenever, she finds herself doubting herself she reads this quote to help her refocus:

Instead of regarding ourselves as mere drops, or 1 in 7.7 billion, we can reverse the imagery and instead recognise that within us we have the power of an ocean and are capable of achieving everything we have ever hoped for.
